The Iron Rattler at Six Flags Qiddiya City is a record-breaking ride designed to be a completely different technological marvel than its namesake in Texas. It is poised to be a major adrenaline draw at Saudi Arabia’s upcoming entertainment destination.
Iron Rattler: The World’s Tallest Tilt Coaster
Unlike the hybrid wood-and-steel coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the Iron Rattler at Qiddiya City is a modern steel Tilt Coaster manufactured by the Dutch company Vekoma.
The defining feature of this ride is its “tilt” element, where the train climbs to a high point and then is momentarily suspended in a vertical, 90-degree position before dropping, creating an intense sense of freefall.
